Singing is good for the mind, body and social life. We would love you to join us!
- We do not audition for membership, though a reasonable standard of sight singing and willingness to practise between rehearsals will make Thursday evenings with us even more enjoyable. Don’t worry if you haven’t sung since school – many of us were in that position before joining.
- Our membership secretary and section reps will welcome you and answer any questions you have at rehearsals - and you can meet our very sociable members in our tea/coffee break and in the pub after rehearsals (The Nell of Old Drury, 29 Catherine Street) and after concerts (venues vary). We have a choir party once a term, sometimes involving extras like a quiz, and have occasional choir trips outside London – we are planning a tour to Munich in early July 2027. - Membership of the choir is annual and we prefer the choir subscription to be paid in advance, in September each year. The annual rate for our 2026/7 season is £245. Termly subscription is possible, currently at the rate of £85 per term, though we expect members taking this option to sing in all three terms. A concessionary fee may be available in some circumstances.
