We are always keen to hear from committed and enthusiastic singers who would like to join the choir. No formal audition is required but we welcome singers with a good standard of sight singing.

The voice part you will sing will be decided by the range and timbre of your voice, but we have to be certain that you are able to sing accurately and are in the right voice part for you. Voice testing to determine which voice part you should sing will be carried out at the discretion of the Musical Director.

Rehearsals take place in the Church Hall of the Church of Scotland, Crown Court, Covent Garden every Thursday during academic term and normally last from 7pm to 9pm.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the choir, please email info@medicichoir.org.uk

Are you a Singer? Join Medici Choir

We are now seeking new members to join our choir.

If you are a London based singer we’d love to hear from you.

We welcome singers with Choral experience.

[Please note that we are a non-audition choir.]

The Baird Bursary

The Baird Bursary has been set up in memory of our previous long-standing Music Director John Baird & his wife Penny who devoted so much of their time and expertise towards making Medici Choir the successful friendly choir that it is today.

We offer a £150 grant payable termly plus free membership, musical scores if necessary, and 2 free tickets for each performance.

Opportunities for solo singing may be possible at our MD David Gostick’s discretion.

We would give preference to tenor or bass voices, but any voice part is welcome to apply. In return successful applicants would be required to attend regularly each term and to sing in concerts.

If an applicant is interested in joining us, an informal audition with our Music Director would take place at Crown Court (our rehearsal venue).

Please email us for more information, or to let us know if you would like to come along to a rehearsal to find out more!
